Applications will open for the 2025-2026 Academic year in January 2025

This year, several merit-based scholarships will be offered to dependents and spouses continuing their education at a college or university in Fall 2025. Eligible applicants must be pursuing an associates, bachelors, masters or similar degree/diploma from an accredited 2-year or 4-year university, technical college, or vocational school. Additionally, eligible candidates must meet the following criteria by the application deadline:

Possess a valid DoD dependent identification card AND fall into one of the following categories of preference: 

 

  • Category 1 (highest preference):  Be a dependent whose parent or spouse is on active duty orders and stationed at Peterson SFB, Schriever SFB, or Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, or a geographically separate unit (GSU) of Peterson, Schriever or Cheyenne Mountain where no other Spouses' Club Scholarships available, OR

  • Category 2 (medium preference):  Be a dependent whose parent or spouse is on full time, active duty orders in the Guard or Reserve at Peterson, Schriever or Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, OR

  • Category 3 (lowest preference):  Be a dependent or spouse residing in the Colorado Springs area of a retired or deceased military member who served on active duty or military Missing in Action (MIA) member.
